Meet Jay!

Jay is a Chicago-based dancer, educator, choreographer, and coach passionate about developing well-rounded, confident dancers. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Columbia College Chicago and a Master of Arts in Sports Management from North Central College. With over two decades of dance experience, Jay has taught and choreographed for competitive and recreational dancers of all ages, with an emphasis on technique, artistry, versatility, and performance quality. She strives to create a classroom environment where dancers feel challenged, supported, and empowered to explore their individuality. She hopes each class fosters confidence, curiosity, and

a strong technical foundation that dancers can carry with them beyond the studio.

Jay has trained and performed across a diverse range of dance styles throughout her career, with teaching and choreography experience in Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Latin and technique. She currently teaches throughout the Chicagoland area and is on the convention faculty for Activate Your Artistry Dance Convention, while also serving as the Varsity Head Coach at Plainfield East High School.
